Maps.Me
Maps.Me, a navigation app with a user-friendly interface, in Portuguese and without the need for internet. As soon as you install it on your mobile device, the app identifies your location and suggests a map of the region for you to download.
The service generates routes from one point to another for different means of transport, even offline. If you are walking or cycling, it informs you when there are ups and downs along the way.
The app also provides information on interesting places in the area, with reviews and photos sent by other users. You can download it on all cell phones. Android with the iOS.
Google Maps
And to end on a high note, we couldn't fail to mention the Google Maps app. Which perhaps needs no introduction.
In addition to being a great and easy-to-use application, it is installed on all devices. It has a variety of information available about places you want to go to or find out if there are any near you.
To do this, search for your location and, in the results, drag the bottom bar from the bottom to the top. Then, you will see the Download option. On the next screen, you can define the area of the map you want to download. Then, just tap Download again.
