If you stop to think about it, it was a great debut and two concerns. Last Thursday (24th), Brazil made its debut in its game against Serbia. In that game, player Danilo had a medial ligament injury in his left ankle.

As the coach had already made all five substitutions, the right-back had to stay on the pitch until the end, even with a limp.

Already with the player Neymar, in the game he had a fight with Milenkovic, sprained his right ankle and suffered a lateral ligament injury and a small bone edema. According to Lasmar, Neymar had a ligament injury in his right ankle, with bone edema.

Danilo already had an injury to the medial ligament of his left ankle. The doctor of the Brazilian team said that the athletes are undergoing treatment.

Neymar's return to compete in the World Cup with the Brazilian team can be accelerated, but in the case of the player Danilo, we cannot say the same. The striker registered improvement in the right ankle injury and is expected for the game against Cameroon, a game that will take place next Friday (02), but the lateral, on the other hand, still suffers from the problem in the left ankle.

In the case of Danilo's injury, although not apparent, it is different from Neymar's and more complex. Thus, there are still doubts whether the winger will be able to play the round of 16 and whether he will still participate in the rest of the World Cup. According to the team's medical department, Neymar's injury is in the lateral ligament of the ankle, causing more swelling and pain.

Player Danilo's injury, however, was located in the medial ligament, on the inside of the foot, which causes more pain and less edema, and therefore draws less attention. But the concern is much greater. Both players are undergoing full-time physical therapy.

In his social networks, the player Neymar published photos doing the exercises and showing optimism in his recovery. The images, however, still show the attacker's ankle with great swelling.

The edema in the ankle was dissolved with manual therapy by the team's physiotherapists, which already causes a greater feeling of comfort. Danilo's injury does not appear to have the same level of severity, but the treatment for pain relief takes longer. While Neymar's problem does not have the effusion caused by the sprain as a serious parameter.

After intensive treatment, in the first 48 hours, there was already a satisfactory evolution. Apparent swelling takes longer to go away. In Danilo's case, although he doesn't have so much swelling, the discomfort persists and prevents him from moving on to the next stages of the Cup.
