Application to view the city in satellite

Advertising

We will introduce you to Google Earth, which is a computer program developed by an American company called Google, whose function is to present a model that shows everything on the globe.

It was built through a mosaic of satellite images, which are obtained from several aerial images, which are photographed by aircraft.

Therefore, the program we are recommending to you can be used simply as a map generator that shows all dimensions and satellite images or as a simulator of the different landscapes we have on Planet Earth.

This way, you can identify places, cities, landscapes, buildings and other elements. With this, we can see that the program is similar to, but much more complex than, the Google Maps application, which ends up offering you much more complex and informative data.

This application was formerly known as Earth Viewer, which was acquired by Google in 2004. However, it was only named Google Earth in 2005. This program works and is available for use on almost all computers.

This program is available with two different licenses for use, Google Earth has limited functions and Google Earth Pro is a free application, which is used only for commercial consumption.

Google Earth Plus which costs $20.00 per year, which has all the features that were canceled in 2008 for commercial reasons.

As it was known as Earth Viewer, Google Earth was developed by the company Keyhole, Inc, which was acquired in 2004 by Google.

This new name was only changed to the name Google Earth in 2005 and is currently being used and available for use on various personal computers such as Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher, Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP and on June 12, 2006, a beta version for Linux was released.

Most of the big cities on the planet already have these available in image mode with very good resolution, enough for you to view houses, condominiums or even the closest details such as cars and all the places you want, so the entire globe is covered with an approximation of at least 15 kilometers, thus making it possible to analyze everything you want to find.

Google then made improvements to Keyhole clients and added several satellite images from the database to its Internet-based mapping software.

Resources

Currently, the Google Earth program allows you to rotate an image and mark the locations you have identified to visit these locations later, allowing you to measure the distance between two points and even have a three-dimensional view of the locations you want to research.

In 2006, the program underwent changes in the images captured by satellite and a large part of the world now has its program in high resolution, even in small cities all the details are now available.

Therefore, Google Earth aggregates several images obtained from various sources, with satellite images of all places on the planet and provides the geographic information system model on a 3D globe.
